Search Data with SearchView and SQLite


Create new project in Android Studio with steps as below:




Create new package named entities. In this package, create new java class named Contact.java as below:

Create new package named database. In this package, create new java class named DatabaseHelper.java as below:

Open res\values\strings.xml file and add new string as below:

</resources>

Copy images to res\drawable folder

Create new Android Resource Directory named menu. In menu folder, create new menu file named main_menu.xml as below:

Open res\layout\activity_main.xml file and create layout as below:

Add code to MainActivity.java in android.demo.learnandroidwithrealapps package as below:
